Familiarisation and Training

We believe that our training and development programme sets us apart from our competitors. Whilst others seek the minimum in terms of education, and do not always attain qualifications of any kind, we strive for the maximum in terms of both.

Hoist User Familiarisation

‘Hoist User Familiarisation’ is site and Hoist specific and is offered by us as part of the handover process for hired Hoists to demonstrate the safe method of operation of the Hoist in its installed configuration. The ‘Hoist User Familiarisation’ process takes approx. 20-30 mins with no more than 3 people to be familiarised at a time (additional sessions can be arranged). All the attendees must be minimum 18 years old.
We also provide copy documentation of bullet point notes relating to our verbalised ‘User Familiarisation Guidance Notes’ which, following completion of each process, we sign to say we have run through said points and the prospective ‘Operators’ also sign to say they have been advised. A copy of the signed Guidance Notes document is left with the responsible person on-site, and we retain a signed copy, on-file. This does not constitute ‘Training’, but, rather is as titled: ‘User Familiarisation’.
