Working with the scaffold supplier Lyndon SGB, Hoist Hire Services provided multiple hoists across multiple blocks required to transport scaffolding, waste materials removed from the facia and the new cladding system.

On main tower which is 60m tall a Geda 1500Z/ZP BS Transport Platform was selected as it enabled the scaffolding to be installed with standard bay widths the full height of the building, but still enabling materials up to 3.3m long to be transported within the confines of the hoist.  The scaffolding was aided by fitting the Lock’N’Load scaffold carrying system to the hoist during erection and dismantle enabling to transportation of scaffolding standards up to 21 feet long.

The hoist installation to deal with the large step back in the building for the top 8 floors was also successfully planned with Lyndon SGB to ensure the hoist was able to travel the full height of the building.

On the remaining blocks across the development, the Geda 500Z/ZP goods hoist was chosen as it enabled the transportation of scaffolding and cladding materials with minimal footprint ensuring the hoists were kept clear of roadways throughout the work on all blocks.
